ABOUT THE PROJECT
Home Frequencies is a multimedia community art project that profiles social workers and artists with connections to Dorothy Day House, a shelter and social services organization in Berkeley, California. The project includes a short documentary film, a geometric “video quilt” installation, and community events that celebrate the HARMONY of art, service, and community leadership.

Home Frequencies was created by filmmaker Daniel Freeman and features major contributions from painter Sean Shelly, musician David “Chicago” Anderson, harpist Matthew Malie, cinematographer Ivan Narez-Hurtado, animator Tera Johnson, guitarist and shelter manager Daniel Garcia, and Dorothy Day House executive director Robbi Montoya. Without the creativity and care of these artists, this project would not have been possible.
